For our client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of: Senior Business Analyst

Location: Remote
Job type: B2B via Hays Poland
Rate: 140 - 160 net+vat/h
Length: long-term cooperation

Start date: ASAP/One month

Role Purpose / Summary:
  • The Senior Business Analyst will play a vital role to lead both projects and a team of Business Analysts, to drive and deliver business analysis activities across client projects.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Working within projects to lead and manage the end-to-end requirements process from definition, traceability and change control ensuring full range of business need is captured
  • Act as liaison between business and technology groups
  • Plans and manages approach to requirements phases
  • Defines requirements management plan
  • Leading and facilitating workshops and meetings as required to support data gathering, analysis and definition of business requirements deliverables
  • Definition of functional and non-functional business requirements including User Story analysis and definition representing business requirements
  • Business Process analysis and definition to support business needs and future operating processes
  • Coordination and management of requirements review and approval processes ensuring business understanding and effective communication
  • Effectively communicates complex information and ideas in speaking and presentations so others will understand, adapting communications appropriately to suit audience
  • Provides information to others, both internal and external to the organisation; represents the organisation to customers and other external sources
  • Ensure high levels of accuracy, quality and attention to detail in all project artefacts and deliverables
  • Responsible for business analysis inputs to key project governance forums (e.g. Project Steering Committees, Leadership updates, Workstream meetings, Project Reporting)
  • Identification and management of stakeholders, their influence and project impact
  • Build and establish constructive and cooperative working relationships with key stakeholders (both internal and external) to successfully deliver analysis activities, project tasks and overall objectives
  • Represent business analyst capability to key stakeholders
  • Input to and influence solution design based upon business requirements
  • Co-ordination of testing activities and supporting defect management resolution
  • Leading business analysts to set direction, evaluate performance, provide feedback and drive continuous improvement supporting development plans
Dimensions of Role:

Education/Professional Qualifications:
  • Education Degree level or equivalent experience demonstrated
  • Professional ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis or IIBA CBAP (or similar)
Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
•+ 7 years previous experience within a similar role with evidence of successful delivery of IT and business change outcomes
  • Experienced in Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Experienced in User Story definition
  • Experienced in business process ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ analysis and mapping
  • Insurance industry experience and product knowledge (personal, commercial products, product lifecycle, policy &/or claims lifecycle)
  • Experience with communicating effectively with different levels of internal and external management and leadership
  • Ability to create presentations
  • Able to manage multiple priorities concurrently and handle pressure situations effectively and professionally.
  • Advanced problem-solving tools and methods.
  • Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills.
  • Act as a mentor
