Requirements:

• Successfully completed commercial training with further training as (international) accountant (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d)
• At least 4 years work experience in accounting
• Solid experience in the financial statement process
• Contribute to the improvement of existing processes
• Good knowledge of financial systems and MS Office
• Very good knowledge of German and English (B2/C1)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Group's month-end general ledger close, including preparing and maintaining close schedules, preparing and posting journal entries and identifying necessary requirements
• Reconcile monthly or quarterly general ledger account balances to appropriate detail data to ensure accuracy, validity and completeness of reported account balances
• Applie appropriate dispositions to items being reconciled
• Participate in process improvement projects to achieve lean process objectives
• Oversee the calculation and reporting of sales, use, VAT and other statutory taxes
• Main point of contact for internal and external audit enquiries for the Group
• Review contracts and documents issues in accordance with financial policies
• Maintain schedules, templates, subsidiary ledgers, spreadsheets or other documents on an ongoing basis to ensure timeliness, consistency and accuracy of reports
